Sample Project: Stone House

A fictional building brought back into use while its cut-stone facade was preserved.

The brief

The client wanted to keep the original facade and rebuild the interior for how the building is used today.

Approach

We started by measuring and drawing the building and mapped the areas of masonry that needed repair. Work was limited to those areas.

Inside, we kept new elements clearly separate from the old. Everything we added sits back from the original wall by the width of a joint.
